Students will create integrate visual asset and refine the prototype into a complete working and functional product experience. First, I exported all the completed app screens from Figma as PNG files to keep the quality sharp and maintain any transparency where needed. After that, I imported these PNG files into Unity, placing them inside the Assets > UI > Images folder for better organization. Once inside Unity, I converted the files from PNG textures into sprites so that Unity could properly detect and use them within the UI system. This step was important to make sure the designs would display correctly on the canv...

Students will create integrate visual asset and refine the prototype into a complete working and functional product experience. I began working on the final version of my app, starting with the onboarding pages. My initial focus was purely on getting the UI in place, ensuring that the visual design matched my planned layout. I built the onboarding screens first as a foundation before moving into interactions or animations. This allowed me to establish the look and flow of the app before refining functionality. After completing the onboarding pages, I moved on to developing the mechanics and interactions for the login page. I set it so that the login button remains inactive by default, only becoming clickable ...

xx.xx.2025 - xx.xx.2025 / Week 7 - Week 11 IAN CHOO XIN ZHE / 0369451 Application Design 2 / Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Creative Media MIB   Task 3:  Interactive Component Design & Development Students will build upon the knowledge gained in Task 2 to create micro-interactions and animated micro-interactions for their app. This will greatly elevate the user experience of the app. The aim of this task is to get the students to explore and make creative decisions on the type of interactions they would want to integrate into their app. To begin the development process, I first created the necessary blank pages that represent the core flow of my MVP (Minimum Viable Product). These pages include the Home Page , Game Description , Cart , Payment & Purchase , and Completion Page . Each of these screens plays a key role in shaping the user journey, from browsing games to completing a purchase. By setting up these foundational pages early, I was able to clearly v...

Experiential Design - Task 3: Project MVP Prototype

Image
xx.xx.2025 - xx.xx.2025 / Week 7 - Week 11 IAN CHOO XIN ZHE / 0369451 Experiential Design / Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Creative Media MIB Task 3: Project MVP Prototype Once their proposal is approved, the students will then work on the prototype of their project. The prototype will enable the students to discover certain limitations that they might have not learnt about before and they’ll have to creatively think on how to overcome the limitation to materialize their proposed ideas. The objective of this task is for the students to test out the key functionality of their project. The output may not necessarily be a finished visually designed project. The students will be gauge on their prototype functionality and their ability to creatively think on alternatives to achieve the desired outcome. For this phase of the project, Michael and I divided the responsibilities to make our workflow more ef...
